Lifting Systems for Precast Concrete |
|
Lifting SocketsLifting sockets are economic and are mainly used in thin precast units. The long tail provides excellent anchorage, however reinforcement is essential. For use with 1240/1245 lifting loops. Cast in lifting sockets are available in a range of sizes from M12 (700kg) to M36 (6300kg) Wavy Tail InsertsWavy tail inserts consist of a socket swaged to a wavy reinforcement bar. Can be used flush to the surface of unit or recessed. Available in a range of 500kg to 12,500kg. Wire Rope Lifting HoopCast-in lifting hoops are the most economic way of providing a crane hook attachment in precast units. They are manufactured from bright or galvanised mild steel rope with a swaged connecting ferrule and a tag that clearly identifies the maximum weight permissible of the lift. Once in position, the hoops can then be cut off and the ends of the steel, embedded in the concrete, protected from corrosion. Available in a range of 800kg - 25000 kg Swivel Lifting EyesSwivel lifting eyes are made from High grade steel and are suitable for use with threaded inserts cast in flush with the face of the unit, or recessed using the Hebefix Lifting DeviceCast in transport system for precast concrete units. Consisting of a plastic box and lid with galvanised ring bolt inside for use with standard transporting hooks. Anchoring in concrete with additional reinforcement bar is required. Load rating 1250kg. Transfix BCast in to manhole or drain covers for lifting purposes. Consists of a steel hook set into a plastic box, which has a recess for a lifting hook. Load rating 150kg. |
